1. Identify the cap
Share the style, color and quantity: for example, six black adjustable caps. If you already have them, include photos of the cap and its label. If you need help choosing, send a reference photo of the style you like.
2. Separate artwork from inspiration
Send the design you want embroidered and type any exact lettering. Specify whether you want the complete logo, its symbol or text alone. Label inspiration photos separately and describe the colors or proportions that interest you.
3. Point to the placement
Choose the front, side or back, and clarify the wearer’s left or right for side designs. Give an approximate width in inches or centimeters, or use a photo to show the proportions you have in mind.
4. Group any differences
Separate quantities by hat color, style and design. List individual names against the right group, and explain any color changes between groups. Add your needed-by date, then attach the cap photos and artwork to the Instagram request.

Example — Hi Beast Ink, we need six black adjustable caps with our logo centered on the front, approximately two inches wide. We need help choosing the caps. I will attach our logo and a cap reference photo. Could you review the design and hat style for a quote?
